In the top right corner of the frame you can see the number 1153. If you are not familiar with the numbering in the city, you can get lost endlessly. It is not so important whether you know the street, but whether you know which district you should be in. In the whole of Venice the houses are numbered by district, and so it can happen, that there are 5 different houses with the address Calle della Madonna 1153 because this street name occurs in every Sestiere (district).
